Statement

Chawema objectives mission is to get in contact and network with Kenyans in Germany as well as friends of Kenya abroad in an attempt to embrace opportunities that will lead to the development and advancement of the Kenyans and German community. The union is also a Convention for forum, discussion and communication to discuss issues concerning education, development, trade, culture as well as political agenda about Kenya. The Union shall participate in democratisation and political reform process in Kenya through dialogue with relevant institutions such as civil societies, government bodies and any groups whose aim is transparent. Founded in March 2nd 1993, Chawema purpose is of making contributions towards Kenyans abroad basically based in Germany with mission to develop a contact among Kenyan societies. Our objective vision is to make the union a target of activities for charity, fundraising and contact with individuals, organizations, firms and establishments in and outside Germany. Asante Sana.
